Samsung is redefining the concept of home audio with the introduction of its new Music Studio 5 and Music Studio 7 Wi-Fi speakers, set to debut at CES 2026 this January. These speakers go beyond sound, blending seamlessly into modern living spaces through a strong focus on minimalism, longevity, and thoughtful design.

Created in collaboration with renowned French designer Erwan Bouroullec, the Music Studio speakers reflect a refined, contemporary aesthetic. Samsung describes the design philosophy as a “timeless dot concept,” inspired by universal symbols found in both music and art. The result is a sculptural, monolithic form that feels modern yet enduring—ideal for homes that value sustainability through long-lasting design rather than frequent replacement.

Immersive Audio with the Music Studio 7

The Music Studio 7 is the flagship model in the lineup, built for listeners who want a deeply immersive audio experience. It features a 3.1.1-channel spatial audio system with left, right, front, and top-firing speakers that create a room-filling soundstage. With support for 24-bit audio at 96 kHz, it delivers high-resolution sound suitable for serious music lovers. Users can pair the speaker with other Samsung Wi-Fi speakers to create a multi-room setup, reducing the need for additional hardware and encouraging efficient device use.

Subtle Design Meets Performance: Music Studio 5

The Music Studio 5 is designed for users who prioritize visual harmony as much as audio quality. Slightly more compact and discreet, it integrates effortlessly into minimalist interiors. Despite its smaller footprint, it includes a 4-inch woofer and dual tweeters, delivering balanced sound across frequencies. Like its larger counterpart, it uses AI Dynamic Bass Control to enhance low frequencies while minimizing distortion—helping maintain audio clarity at various volume levels.

    Smart Connectivity, Fewer Cables

Both speakers support Wi-Fi and Bluetooth streaming, along with voice control, enabling hands-free operation and reducing dependency on wired connections. This wireless flexibility contributes to cleaner spaces and lower material usage, aligning with eco-friendly home technology trends.

A Sustainable Alternative for Design-Focused Homes

While the Music Studio series clearly prioritizes design, it also appeals to users seeking alternatives to traditional Wi-Fi speaker ecosystems. With their minimalist build, durable aesthetic, and smart features, these speakers may attract users looking to move away from more conventional options for both visual and usability reasons.

Currently, the speakers are available only in black, reinforcing their understated and timeless look. Pricing and availability details have not yet been announced, but more information is expected once CES 2026 officially begins.
